Back to the village
Part two

“BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!” The annoying buzz of Hinata’s alarm clock woke her up. She ignored the side of her that wanted to sleep longer. Hinata sat up and kicked her blankets to the end of her bed. A small yawn escaped her lips as she stretched. Hinata looked at her clock, “Six O’clock,” she remembered setting her clock a little early. She had a strange feeling that something would happen today. Hinata skipped her usual shower, today she wanted to leave the mansion early. She grabbed her regular clothes: A hoody and dark pants that rested above her ankles. As Hinata made her way through the mansion she began to wonder what might happen today. Her train of thought was stopped by a sudden voice, “Hinata.” She looked up to see Neji leaning against a wall. The lighting in the room made his pale lavender eyes seem more mysterious. “Yes Neji.” Hinata answered as Neji made his way off the wall, and to the center of the room. He stuck his hands in his pockets and continued. “Sakura stopped by yesterday while you were gone, she wants you to meat her at her house.” Hinata was really confused, but she tried not to show it. “When d-does she want me over there?” Neji looked out the window on his left. ‘I believe she said seven am.” Hinata wasn’t sure why but after Neji finished talking she grabbed him in a hug, “Thanks nii-san.”  Neji blushed as Hinata let him go and ran down the hall.

The village was almost empty as Hinata ran through the streets. Hinata halted at a small two story apartment. This is it, Sakura’s house. Hinata knocked thrice. She waited until she could hear someone coming to the door, the steps were soft. When the door was opened Hinata was greeted by someone she least expected, “Tenten?”

“Oh hey Hinata.”

“W-what are you doing here?”

“Oh I’ll tell you once we get upstairs.”

Tenten grabbed her arm and led Hinata up a stair case and into a small room. Hinata saw a small group of kunoichi sitting on the ground. Tenten let go of Hinata’s arm so she could sit with the rest of the girls. Hinata just stood there staring at a group of kunoichi, the group consisted of; Sakura, Ino, Tenten and Temari. “Why exactly am I here?” All the girls looked up at Hinata. Sakura spoke first, “We have things to discuss. First we’re talking about you and Naruto.” Hinata blushed a little, and put her head down to smile. “And second, we need your help to throw Naruto a party.”

“A party?” Hinata was a little confused.

“Well actually we already sent out invites, but we need your help to keep Naruto away until we’re ready for him to come.”

“So all I have to do is keep him occupied for a while?”

“That’s it,” Sakura reassured “Now lets talk about you and Naruto.” Sakura motioned Hinata to sit down next to her in the circle.

“Umm okay.” Hinata sat down in between Sakura and Ino.

“So, Hinata, have you kissed?” Ino looked a little embarrassed to ask this.

“You already know the answer to that.” Hinata explained as she looked over at Tenten.
“I mean have you like made-out?” Hinata blushed at the revision of Tenten’s question. “Well, kinda.” Hinata looked at the floor to hide her blush. “Me next,” sakura blurted out, a few of the girls giggled at Sakura’s sudden out-burst. “Shut-up!” Sakura threatened them with her fist. “So Hinata what did you and Naruto do after I left you at the park?” Hinata didn’t expect her to ask that. “Umm, well, we walked around the park. And then Naruto bought us tea.” They were surprised at Hinata’s response, they expected to hear Hinata to answer, “Oh we went and got ramen.” Sakura still seamed confused, “But you guys were gone so long.” Hinata thought, “Oh, we also watched the sunset together.” This amazed the small group even more. “Well Hinata It really seems that he likes you.”

“Huh, why?”

“Well when we were twelve I allowed Naruto to take me on a date,” Sakura explained, “He took me out for ramen and them we trained. It wasn’t much of a date.”

“Well that’s Naruto for you.” Temari explained.

“Soooo, is Naruto a,” Tenten looked embarrassed to ask her question, “Good kisser?”

“Yeah, he is.” Hinata smiled at her own response.

“Okay I think that’s enough questions for now. Okay Hinata Naruto’s party is at 6:30 tonight. I want you to occupy Naruto until then. So you’ll need to be at his house at about 12:00.” Sakura instructed.

“Umm, why at 12:00?”

“Because Naruto stayed up late last night talking to me about you. And Naruto tends to sleep in.” Sakura explained.

“About me?”

“Yeah you, who else. You know he really does love you.” Hinata blushed as Sakura answered her question.

“Hinata we have more planning to do, we do you need your help with a few things though.”

“What with?”

“Well we need your opinion on a few things. First off what color decorations do you think Naruto would want, and second when do you think the party should end?”

“Umm, Naruto really likes the colors orange and blue. And second, he likes to stay up late, so probably around midnight.”

“Also we have no clue what to get him.”

“Naruto's been gone for a while so, you could get him something that he might need or want. Like new ninja gear, or something for him to keep at his house. He also really enjoys his cherished memories.”

The girls just stared at her; they couldn’t believe how much she knew about Naruto. Even though she only said three sentences, that was all they would need to know.

“Guys why are you staring at me?”

“You know Hinata, we’re all extremely happy for you.” Sakura said.

“What do you mean?”

“Hinata, we know how much you love Naruto. And it brightens all of our days to see you together.”

“I-is that true?” Hinata had a hard time asking her simple question. She was still stunned by what Sakura had said.

“Of course it is Hinata.” Sakura clarified.

“You guys are the best friends I could ever have!” And with that Hinata wrapped her arms around Sakura. Hinata had never hugged Sakura, but it made her feel good. Then Hinata let her go. Sakura just smiled. “Hinata.” The sudden voice startled her. “Yes Tenten.”

“You’re going to meet us, with Naruto, at the old warehouse by the movie theater at six thirty. Got it?”

“Yep, okay well I’ll see you guys later.” Hinata jumped up and ran out of the room as fast as she could. Her action reminded the girls a lot of Naruto. “It really seems that they are in love, doesn’t it?” Tenten whispered as she looked over at Sakura. “Yeah it really does.” And then a small tear rolled down Sakura’s cheek. She looked out the window and saw Hinata jumping over the rooftops. And then the dark morning turned so beautiful. As the sun rose Sakura could hear a song of two birds as they flew together. She just watched them. The trees were assorted colors of reds and oranges.

Hinata jumped from roof to roof until she came to the park. She jumped from the roof she was standing on to the soft grass. As Hinata began walking she noticed the presence of another being. She figured this would be good training. As Hinata began making hand signs she was suddenly tackled to the ground. She awaited the impact of the ground, but instead landed on something. She opened her eyes to find that she was on top of Naruto. He still had his arms wrapped around her. “Hey Hinata.” An excited Naruto said as he let her out of his firm grip. “Oh, hi Naruto-kun.” Naruto rested his head on his hands as if he’d never tackled her. “So Hinata what are you doing here?”

“I think I should be asking you that question?”

“Okay, then ask me.”

“Naruto-kun why are you here?”

“I came to get you of course.”

“What for?”

“So we can go get ramen of course.”

“Are you sure it’s not to come to say of course to me all day?” Naruto cocked his head up so he could kiss her deeply on the lips. “No I’m pretty sure it was to go get ramen.” Hinata giggled at Naruto’s response. “Shall we go then?” Hinata asked. “Yes we shall.” Naruto answered before kissing her again. Hinata got off of Naruto and helped him get up. Naruto grabbed Hinata’s hand without his usual hesitation. They walked through the village. Hinata talked Naruto into taking the long way to ichiraku’s; she wanted to waste as much time as possible. As the two walked along they got a few people looking at them confused, or just staring. But they just ignored it. They knew it wasn’t any day that they’d see a Hyuuga walking, let alone holding hand, with a lower class villager.

When they finally got to the ramen shop it was about 9:00. They sat down at their usual spot at the far right side of the shop. “Naruto is that you?” Naruto turned to see a familiar face. “Iruka-Sensei?” Naruto got up and hugged his old teacher. “So Naruto why are you here with Hinata?” The two parted, “Oh right, she’s my girlfriend.” Naruto said as he scratched the back of his head. Iruka just looked over at Hinata and smiled, Hinata politely smiled back. “Naruto you’ve grown quite a bit.” Naruto looked at Iruka to see that they were about the same height. “Well I guess I have.” Iruka laughed as Naruto shined his signature smile at him. “Now Naruto, how did you end out getting Hinata to be your girlfriend?”

“That’s easy! You see, I umm.” Naruto looked a little confused. Iruka just laughed at the look Naruto got on his face. “Umm, I really don’t know.” Naruto answered with a shrug. “Well if you find out, could you tell me?” Iruka blushed as he asked Naruto the simple question. “Sure Iruka. Now if you don’t mind, I have a bowl of ramen with my name on it. And a lovely Hinata waiting for me.” Naruto pat Iruka on the back and went over to sit with Hinata. Iruka watched as the two talked, and giggled. They just seemed so happy.

The two ate and talked. Just enjoying each others presence. By 10:00 they were both full of ramen, so Naruto paid the bill and they left. The two walked silently as Naruto thought about how he would work off all eight bowls of ramen. Then the most obvious way hit him. “So Hinata, do you uhh. Maybe, ya know.” He didn’t know how to ask her if she wanted to train. I mean it was kinda a date. “Sure I will Naruto-kun.”

“How did you know I was going to ask you to train with me?”

“I didn’t know, you just told me.”

“Wait I’m confused. So you gave me an answer to a question that I didn’t ask? So I’d tell you what I wanted to ask.”

“Pretty much.” Hinata giggled as Naruto ran that through his brain a couple more times. Hinata grabbed Naruto’s hand and began to guide him somewhere. “Hinata, could you tell me where we’re going exactly?” Hinata stopped walking to look up at him, “Hmm, I could tell you where we’re going. But, I don’t want to.” Hinata let go of Naruto’s hands.
“But why can’t you tell me?” Hinata beckoned Naruto to come closer, and then she whispered in his ear, “Because if I told you it wouldn’t be a secret.” And with that Hinata ran off. Naruto chased her as she ran through crowds of people, and when she jumped to the roof tops. Naruto finally caught up to Hinata as she jumped off the roof of a small convenient store. She walked over to a small bench and sat down. Naruto shadowed Hinata’s actions and sat down next to her. “Now will you tell me where we’re going?”

“Well, just because you asked. I’ll show you where we’re going.”

“Works for me.”

Hinata grabbed Naruto’s hand and stood up. She began to walk them through a cluster of trees. Naruto was becoming impatient; they’d been walking through this forest for at least ten minutes. “Uh, Hinata, are we there yet?” Naruto felt quite stupid for asking such a childish question, but he wanted to know. Hinata stopped walking and turned to face Naruto.

“Close your eyes.”

“What?” Naruto asked, obviously confused.

“I want to know you can trust me”

“Of course I trust you Hina-chan.”

“Then let me walk you to what I’m going to show you.”

“Only if you promise that it won’t take to long.”

“Okay, I promise.” Hinata whispered rather suggestively, as she made her way to kiss Naruto. She pressed her lips to Naruto's. He lightly bit her lower lip for entrance. She almost immediately accepted him into her mouth. Hinata started exploring his mouth before he began to caress her tongue. ‘Ramen flavored kisses’ she thought to herself before breaking the kiss. “What that’s all I get?” Naruto teased. “You can have more once we get there. Now close your eyes.” Hinata said as she moved her hands over his eyes. “Fine. But just because you asked me nicely.” Naruto obediently closed his eyes and began to search for her hand. Hinata grasped his hand and began to walk. He played with her hand as she walked him through the over grown forest. Naruto bumped into Hinata when she quickly stopped without warning. “Are we there?” Naruto asked with his eyes still squeezed shut. “Open your eyes and find out.” Naruto anxiously thrust his eyes open to reveal a beautiful landscape.

They were completely surrounded by what looked like a wall of trees. The grass was pale green, and littered with hundreds of flowers. Then Naruto heard something behind him, he swiftly turned around to see something far more beautiful than anything else there. The surrounding trees had turned to stone that led up to a waterfall. Pure water flowed nosily down a small cliff that was infested with more flowers and plants. Naruto looked over at Hinata who was innocently standing at his side. “Why did you bring me here?”

“Because I thought it would be a good place for you to relax.”

“Relax from what?”

“From the yelling and all the pressure of missions.”

“You know, it’s almost as beautiful as you.” Hinata blushed as Naruto wrapped him arms around her waist and pulled her against him. “Naruto-kun?” He looked down at Hinata, his love. “Hey, you promised I could have more.” Naruto said as she moved her even closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into kiss her. This time Hinata begged entrance into his mouth. Naruto quickly greeted her tongue with his. Their tongues wrestled until Hinata broke the kiss gasping for air. After they’d caught their breath Naruto went in for round two. Then Hinata moved her hands to his hips and brang him in closer. They kissed passionately for what seemed like an eternity. They broke apart slowly, letting their lips be the last thing that touched.

“I love you Naruto-kun.”

“I love you too Hinata.” Hinata wrapped her arms around his neck again and rested her chin on his shoulder. Naruto looked down at Hinata and softly smiled. The tow rested in that position for quite along time. Naruto buried his usually jittery actions in the back of his mind so he could think. He thought about his childhood, and how he’d been an outcast that everyone seemed to hate. Naruto had somehow over powered all the hate in his mind with happiness. A happiness that seemed to spread to everyone. Naruto looked back at what he was like in the academy. He’d gotten in trouble many times just for attention. But then he figured out that he just needed to look into his heart for the love he’d never gotten.

“Naruto?” Hinata interrupted the long silence.

“Yeah Hinata-chan.”

“Umm, would you like to see a movie?”

“That would be great.” Naruto said as his trademark grin spread across his face. They broke apart, and Hinata began to guide them out of the forest. Hinata dodged tree branches that stuck out with ease. She moved around them so fluently. It really reminded Naruto of the girl he’d see in the waterfall about two years ago. “Hey Hinata-chan, do you remember the mission we went on like two years ago? We had to find some bug thingy, so it would follow Sasuke’s scent.” Naruto asked as he made his way around a tree. “Of course I remember it Naruto-kun.” Hinata answered while moving around a few branches. “Well do you remember when I told you guys about the girl I saw in the waterfall?” Hinata reddened immediately, “And neither Shino or Kiba believed me.” A small smile spread across his face as he reminisced about that mission. “Uhu.”

“Well did you believe me?”

“Yeah I believed you.”

“Well why did you believe me, I mean its highly unlikely to see some random person dancing in a waterfall?”

“Because, ummm, that was me in the waterfall.” Naruto stopped walking, “I’m sorry I never told you Naruto-kun.” Naruto walked up to Hinata and grabbed her hand. He was mesmerized by her lavender eyes. “Hinata-chan I don’t care if you lie to me hundreds of times, all I care about is that you love me.” Hinata blushed as she looked into his pure blue eyes.

“Well, let’s go see that movie you spoke so much about.” And with that Naruto stormed off. Hinata followed him as he jumped from branch to branch. They eventually exited the forest, only to find the soft dirk turn to hard cement. Naruto stopped at a small bench to wait for Hinata. She was close behind, but figured she’d slow down and catch her breath.

“Naruto-kun, why did you run off like that?” Hinata asked as she sat down on the bench. “Why did you run off earlier?” Hinata thought for a moment. “Because I wanted to show you my little hiding place.”

“But why did we run there?”

“Because you would remember how to get there. And I wouldn’t want you to show our hiding place to anyone else.” Hinata said as she stood up. “Why would I show it to anyone?” Naruto asked as he began to follow Hinata. “Okay fine. Promise not to show anyone our hiding spot.” Naruto stuck a fist on his heart. “Okay I promise never to show anyone our hiding spot. Now will you tell me where it is?” Hinata smiled and grabbed his hand. “Well you already know where it is Naruto-kun, look around.” Naruto looked away from Hinata's face to see that they were directly in front of the movie theater. “Convenient. Well let’s go.” Naruto grabbed Hinata’s hand and ran into the theater.
